The environmental principles of INTEROR are expressed in its Environmental Policy.
In order to reduce its environmental impact, INTEROR is committed to managing natural resources in a more responsible manner through various projects. Some of them are partly funded under the “France Relance” recovery plan. INTEROR continuously invests for:
- Sustainable water management and a reduction of its water consumptions. In that respect, we are currently investigating new opportunities for using a rainwater collection system and for improving our wastewater treatment plant efficiency.
- A reduction of its energy consumptions using less energy-consuming equipment (e.g., more efficient cold units and air compressors).
- A better management system for recyclable waste by using CIW containers which facilitate the sorting and the recovery of waste, especially for papers and cardboards.
In addition, INTEROR has its own biological wastewater treatment plant compliant to current standards.
